Democratic Party Political Bot Erica Marsh Suspended from Twitter

(Chaz Anon) Democratic Party influencer/bot Erica Marsh has been suspended by Twitter after many conservatives and some liberals called the account out for being fake and a promoter of divisive left-wing propaganda.

The account, which was created in September of 2022, quickly became a popular voice for Democratic Party politics on Twitter and seemed to appear out of nowhere. Erica Marsh tweets would show up in many newsfeeds, including conservatives, almost as if it was being pushed by Twitter algorithms.

In recent days, the account was criticized for making a racist comment about the Supreme Court decision on affirmative action, implying that blacks would not able to be successful in a merit based society. What she described as “Ultra MAGA” Conservatives brought a lot of attention to the tweet and the spotlight was put on the account.

For months, “Ultra MAGA” influencers like Dom Lucre have pointed out the account is likely a bot designed to propagate Democratic Party talking points, because of the specifically divisive nature of the tweets, how politically focused they were and how the profile photo looked AI generated.

Other Twitter sleuths pointed out months ago that the account appeared to have automated tweets that looked just like tweets from conservative influencers accounts.

Podcast host Greg Boulden revealed yesterday that he suspected that Rhingold consulting was behind the Erica Marsh bot account. He performed a google search that showed a connection between the Erica Marsh photo and the consulting firm.
