Even Big Pharma Overlord Bill Gates says schools should reopen despite COVID-19

(Chaz Anon) Bill Gates thinks indoctrination centers, also known as schools, should reopen in the fall despite the continued spread/hype of the coronavirus. Like his GAVI partner President Trump, he claims “the benefits outweigh the costs.”

“I’m a big believer that for young children, the benefits in almost every location — particularly if you can protect the teachers as well — the benefits outweigh the costs,” the billionaire philanthropist said on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” in an interview aired Tuesday.

“As you get up to age, like, 13 and higher, then you’ll have to look at your locale to decide what you’ll do with high schools,” Gates said. “And if they’re not in, then you have to put massive effort into trying to get there to be continued learning online.”

President Trump has continued to push for schools to reopen in September because students are falling behind in their education, with months of at-home learning due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Two of California’s largest school systems, in Los Angeles and San Diego, have announced plans to begin the fall semester entirely online.

This has led many parents to pull their children out of public school, moving many towards homeschooling, which states like California will pay thousands of dollars a year back to parents who choose this alternative.

So why choose public indoctrination camps if your child has to stay home for school anyways?

Gates said, “Our foundation has revamped our education work to really jump in and help,” he said. “Make sure that minority students and low-income students aren’t suffering the most throughout all of this.”
